Seestar TH10 hydraulic tripod head is specially designed for use with Seestar smart telescopes in equatorial mode. It is also compatible with most SLR cameras, mirrorless cameras, video cameras, and more.

Made of durable full-metal construction, Seestar TH10 tripod head is compatible with most tripods and accessories on the market. It comes with a quick-release plate that supports both 3/8" and 1/4" screws.

With a self weight of 411g, this tripod head can carry a large payload of 5kg.

Note: The TC20 + S50 setup is not supported in regions with a latitude below 15° when used in equatorial mode.

Compact and Portable

    Seestar TH10 is a compact hydraulic tripod head, with a height of just 84mm and a weight of only 411g. The base diameter is 50mm. Made from CNC-machined aluminum alloy, it offers a premium feel and enhanced durability, all while being incredibly lightweight. Perfectly designed for use with the Seestar smart telescope in equatorial mode.

Hydraulic Damping System

    Featuring an ergonomic hydraulic damping system, the Seestar TH10 tripod head makes polar alignment smoother than you expect. With just a light touch, you can easily adjust the pan and tilt scale, making it perfect for beginners!

Wide Range of Shooting angles

    Seestar TH10 tripod head supports 360° pan and -90° to 90° tilt, offering moderate damping for smooth adjustments and stable control. When used with Seestar, you can quickly calibrate the angles by the scale and switch to equatorial mode with a single click on the app. The intuitive knobs ensure secure locking, allowing for effortless multi-angle shooting. Verbindungsmethode

Bei der Verwendung des TC20-Stativs des Seestar S50 mit dem TH10-Stativkopf ist zu beachten, dass der Stativkopf bei bestimmten Winkeln auf die Stativbeine treffen kann. Daher ist diese Kombination nicht mit Regionen unter 15° Breitengrad kompatibel.
Hinweis: TC20 ist das Stativ, das mit dem Seestar S50 geliefert wird.

1. Klappen Sie das Stativ nach dem Ausklappen auf, stellen Sie jedes Bein auf die gewünschte Länge ein und arretieren Sie es sicher. Stellen Sie dann den Stativkörper auf eine ebene, stabile Oberfläche. Richten Sie ein Bein grob nach Norden (auf der Nordhalbkugel) aus. Beobachten Sie die Wasserwaage genau und passen Sie die Beinhöhe an, um sicherzustellen, dass die Blase mittig in der markierten kreisförmigen Anzeige liegt. An diesem Punkt ist das Stativ korrekt aufgestellt.

2. Zuerst montieren Sie den TH10, indem Sie den 1/4″ auf 3/8″ Gewindeschraubenadapter in den Seestar schrauben, anschließend verwenden Sie einen Münzschlüssel, um die Schrauben des Adapters festzuziehen.

3. Bringen Sie die Schnellwechselplatte an und stellen Sie sicher, dass sie fest mit dem Seestar verbunden ist. (Siehe beigefügte Bilder als Referenz). 4. Ziehen Sie den horizontalen Einstellknopf an der Unterseite des TH10 fest und befestigen Sie das TH10 am Stativ. Lockern Sie dann den Knopf und halten Sie die Schwalbenschwanzführung nach Norden ausgerichtet, die mit dem nach Norden ausgerichteten Stützbein übereinstimmen sollte. Ziehen Sie abschließend den Knopf fest.

5. Installieren Sie das Seestar-Gerät auf dem TH10, indem Sie es an der Schwalbenschwanzführung ausrichten. Ziehen Sie den Knopf fest an, um sicherzustellen, dass die Ausrüstung sicher ist. Sobald dies bestätigt ist, ist die Installation abgeschlossen.

Note: When using the Seestar S50 in equatorial (EQ) mode with the TH10 tripod head and the TC20 tripod (included with the Seestar S50), please note that the equipment may collide with the tripod legs at certain angles. Therefore, this setup is not recommended for use in regions below 15° latitude.

I like it

The Tripod Head works great with my S30 in EQ mode. Easy to adjust, smooth and stable. The only issue is that the pan adjustment lock knob interferes with the tripod mount so one must take care in affixing the head to the tripod.

Einfach aufzustellen und leicht einzurichten. Wackelt auch nicht rum und steht sehr stabil. Das zum Stativ. Der Kopf ist auch super leicht einzustellen und sitzt auch stabil. Es ist perfekt für ein Seestar. Bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Kauf.

It is still in the testing period.

I have used it very little and I still cannot give a definitive opinion. I have seen that 60-second exposures seem too optimistic, but less time might yield good results. I can't blame the equipment until I do more testing. The product quality is very good. Ultimately, I think it will bring me a lot of satisfaction.

Seestar Tripod Head

I have really enjoyed using my Seestar S50 and was excited about this tripod head. Unfortunately, the directions are not clear, particularly regarding the correct use of the knobs. I'm having difficulty setting the vertical axis (azimuth) when trying to get polar deviation. It would be helping to provide a troubleshooting page on your website/blog. When looking online, most of the videos I see online are for another brand and not the TH10.

Works fine, quality seems good. Bit expensive given that you may make it without.. consider if you can not use something you allready got to tilt the seestar: What impressed me was how good the seestar polar alignment callibration worked: I probably could used some of my photo mounts. But nice to have a dedicated mount :)

Even though i already had an adapted tripod head for my Seestar I really wanted to have the real Seestar model. I love how small it is and that it came with adapter screw inserts. It is proving to be very good.

Almost perfect

To overall object's quality is good, the rotation's precision is really great, but the precision on the vertical axis is difficult to achieve.
Maybe I just don't understand how to use it, but I didn't see any video on how to setup it correctly, it would be better to have screws to rotate the vertical axis.
In the meantime, achieving the setup is quite difficult on the vertical axis.
Otherwise, good experience :)

Il TH10 funziona ma non è nulla di eccezzionale.

Si, funziona, ma mi aspettavo qualcosa di meglio dalla ZWO. Il TH10 è molto caro e si trovano prodotti praticamente identici alla metà del prezzo. L'attaco alla base avrebbe dovuto essere progettato per il seestar s50 o s30, non per una macchina fotografica qualsiasi. Sinceramente sono stato un po deluso dopo l'acquisto. Per gli altri prodotti nulla da dire sono tutti ottimi e ben progettati.
